Description

Simple and Delicious Bunny Butt Cookies perfect for Easter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (omit if using salted butter)
  • white frosting
  • Wilton bunny feet
  • Pink Sixlets

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Using a hand or stand mixer, combine the sugar and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add in the eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
  4. Slowly fold in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  5. Once all the ingredients are combined scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough and roll into a ball using your hands. My dough was a little bit sticky and that is ok.
  6. Place the cookies about 2-3″ a part on an ungreased baking sheet and gently pat down using your fingers.
  7. Bake 8-10 minutes.
  8. Let cool prior to decorating.

Decorating the cookies

  1. Generously frost each cookie with white frosting.
  2. Give each frosted cookie 2 Wilton bunny feet
  3. Give each bunny a pink ‘tail’.
