It is officially Fall and it is game on for anything pumpkin! I tried a new recipe this weekend for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies with cream cheese frosting it was delish!

Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies with cream cheese frosting

I have never had pumpkin cookies before. Since I love pumpkin chocolate chip cupcakes, I figured cookies would be pretty good too.

And nothing goes better with pumpkin desserts than a cream cheese frosting! YUM!

Now I did leave some cookies without frosting for my husband, who does not like cream cheese frosting. The cookies are pretty good without the frosting should you be in the same boat.

Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies

I used an old-fashioned pumpkin cookie recipe for these cookies but changed it to add mini chocolate chips. I just love the taste of chocolate and pumpkin together.

Baking Tip: Use parchment paper on your baking sheet. It will make the cookies easy to remove from the sheets.
