The guacamole dip is very simple to make as well. The hardest part will be opening, scooping out the avocados and mashing them.

Serve these chips and dip while it is fresh. It will surely be a hit!

- kitchen scissors
- non-stick cooking spray
Ingredients
Homemade Chips
- 12 corn tortillas
- iodized salt
Homemade Guacamole Dip
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 tbsp. freshly squeeze lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
Instructions
Homemade Chips
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly spray and baking sheet with the non-stick cooking spray.
- Use the kitchen scissors to cut the tortillas into smaller triangles or have the kids rip them with their hands.
- Place the tortillas on the baking sheet and lightly salt.
- Bake 7-10 minutes. Rotate the pan halfway through so the chips cook evenly.
Homemade Guacamole Dip
- Slice the avocados open and scoop the avocado into a medium size bowl.
- Mash the avocados and add the seasonings, mixing well.
- Serve with the fresh tortilla chips.
I’ve never put cumin in my guacamole. I’ll try that this wk. I love trying new things.
