Cooler winds will be whipping around soon enough and my lips always get chapped. This year, I thought I would try making some lip balms to help combat my dried lips. First, one I tried was a Lavender Lip Balm Recipe.

Easy lavender lip balm recipe. Perfect for healing those chapped lips.

I have thought about making my own lip balms so many times. However, I was always scared to do it. I thought it would be hard to make. Boy, was I surprised at how easy it was!

These will make wonderful gifts as well. Perfect for stocking stuffers or for something additional to give.

With just a few simple ingredients and some boiling water, you have your own lip balm!

Make sure you try out the Orange Creamsicle too!

  1. I am already signed up with my email. How do I get the label info?

    1. Brenda,
Look for it in your email. Thanks!

  2. Love this. So much better for me than what are in stores. Thank you!

  3. Is there a way to substitute the coconut oil in this recipe? My mom is allergic to coconut and I’d still like to make some for her.

    1. What about almond oil? I have never tried it so I am not sure how it will turn out. Wish I could tell you for sure. I have only used the coconut oil.

  4. Would it be possible to use all cocoa butter instead of half shea and half cocoa?

    1. Hey Melanie. You could try that. I have not made it that way so I am unsure how it would turn out.
