Easy to make baby hospital bracelet ornament which makes for a perfect DIY Baby's First Christmas Ornament!

When you come home from the hospital with your new little one, you have several keepsake items. Have you ever wondered what to do with some of the items? Instead of just storing them somewhere where you don’t get to see them, why not make a baby hospital bracelet ornament. Here is how you can make your own special baby ornaments.

Making this baby hospital bracelet ornament was pretty easy. I only purchased the ornament and I got it at the dollar store for, you guessed it, a dollar!

Baby Hospital Bracelet Ornament Tutorial

What you will need:

  • DIY Christmas Ornament – One you can open and place things in. I made sure to buy one that was large so it had a wider opening to put things into.
  • Baby’s hospital hat
  • Baby’s hospital bracelet
  • Any other items you want to place into the ornament

Step 1: Uncap your DIY Christmas Ornament

Step 2: Poke the baby’s hospital hat into the ornament. To get it to lay the way you want it, use a pencil or a pen (just make sure it doesn’t leave any marks) to move the hat around.

Step 4: Add any other items to the ornament you want. You may want to write on a piece of paper your baby’s information: name, birthday, weight, and length.

Step 5: Place the cap back on the ornament.

Now every year you get your ornaments out, you can remember back to the days when your child was so little. You can remember all the snuggles, giggles, and smiles from when your child was just learning about their new world. To me, this is better than storing the items where you never get them out to look at.

Have you done a DIY baby’s first ornament for your child?  Have you made Christmas ornaments before?
