What are the ingredients for Tartar Sauce?

  • mayonnaise
  • finely chopped dill pickles
  • dill, finely chopped
  • parsley, finely chopped
  • lemon juice
  • teaspoon sugar
  • freshly ground black pepper

How easy is it to make Tartar Sauce?

It is as easy as taking all the ingredients and stirring them together.

There is a little bit of effort to put in with chopping some ingredients.

What does tartar sauce go with?

It is perfect with fish, fish sticks, crab cakes, or salmon patties.

Mix it up to fit your taste:

For more tartness, add more lemon juice or pickles.

Add pickle juice to thin it out if you like a thinner sauce.

Want a sweeter sauce, use bread and butter pickles.

  • 3/4 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tablespoon dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
