4 Leaf Clover Crochet Dishcloth Pattern

With St. Patrick’s Day fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to make a quick 4-leaf clover dishcloth to help celebrate!

For this pattern, it is made in all single crochet stitches and it uses 2 different colored cotton yarn. I chose to use tan and sage, but you can choose colors that work best for you.

Four Leaf Clover Crochet Dishcloth Pattern

The pattern is written out below but the printable version has the written pattern, PLUS a graph!!

The finished product measures 9.5 inches by 11 inches.

What you will need:

  • Color 1 – 100% Cotton Yarn – I used this yarn
  • Color 2 – 100% Cotton Yarn – I used this sage green yarn
  • H (5 mm) Crochet Hook – I LOVE using this crochet hook
  • Yarn Needle
  • Scissors

Clover Dishcloth Pattern

When working this pattern, I always carried color 1. I would cut and weave in the ends of color 2 on each row.

Row 1: (Color 1) Chain 32. Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and continue along the chain. Turn your work. (31 stitches)

Row 2: (Color 1) Chain 1 single crochet 17 stitches. (Color 2) Single crochet 3 stitches. (Color 1) Single crochet 11 stitches. Turn your work. (31 stitches)

Row 3: (Color 1) Chain 1 single crochet 12 stitches. (Color 2) Single crochet 3 stitches. (Color 1) Single crochet 16 stitches. Turn your work. (31 stitches)

Row 4: (Color 1) Chain 1 single crochet 15 stitches. (Color 2) Single crochet 3 stitches. (Color 1) Single crochet 13 stitches. Turn your work. (31 stitches)

Row 5: (Color 1) Chain 1 single crochet 8 stitches. (Color 2) Single crochet 4 stitches. (Color 1) Single crochet 2 stitches. (Color 2) Single crochet 2 stitches. (Color 1) Single crochet 3 stitches. (Color 2) Single crochet 4 stitches. (Color 1) Single crochet 8 stitches. Turn your work. (31 stitches)

Row 34: (Color 1) Chain 1. Single crochet across. (31 stitches)

At this point you crochet a single crochet border around the dishcloth. In the corners, you will put in 2 single crochet stitches. Cut your yarn and weave in the ends.
