Ornament Crochet Dishcloth Pattern
What you will need:
- Knit Picks Dishie Yarn in Silver and Fiesta Red
- I (5.5 mm) Crochet Hook – I absolutely love these hooks
- Scissors
- Yarn Needle
Pattern Notes:
- Color A is the background of the dishcloth. I used Silver.
- Color B is the ornament shape. I used Fiesta Red.
- I carried Color A through the whole dishcloth. I cut Color B after each row.
Pattern:
Row 1: (Color A) Chain 34. Single crochet in the second chain from the hook. Continue to single crochet across. Turn your work. (33 stitches)
Row 2: (Color A) Chain 1. Single crochet across. Turn your work. (33 stitches)

To finish, I used Color A and single crocheted around the dishcloth. I placed 3 single crochet stitches in each corner. Cut yarn and weave in the ends.

I love the colors you chose. I think I would replicate that. I have been thinking of an idea of something I can attach to my apron. I recently sew an apron and it looks too plain, I want to make it more colorful. I think this on the center front won’t be a bad idea.

I’m not sure I understand how you are doing the 2nd color and cutting every row? Could you explain that process? I’ve never done anything other than changing colors at end of rows or joining when yuh run out on the middle if a row of the same color. I’m a fairly simple crocheted.
