cheesecake

I have a HUGE sweet tooth and was looking for a quick dessert that I could make last night with ingredients that I already had in my kitchen. I’ve seen lots of Nutella recipes online lately, so I thought I would try to make one of my own, a no-bake Nutella cheesecake. If you aren’t familiar with Nutella, it is an amazing chocolate, hazelnut spread that is delicious with peanut butter, on crackers or straight out of the jar. Okay, I’m pretty sure you aren’t supposed to eat it straight from the jar, but I told you I had a serious sweet tooth.

Here is how I made my cheesecake:

Ingredients

  • Graham Crackers, box
  • Butter, one stick
  • Nutella, one jar
  • Cream Cheese, 2 packages, softened
  • Milk, 1/2 cup
Directions
  1. Make a standard graham cracker crust. Crumble graham crackers into tiny pieces. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, when all butter is melted, remove from heat and pour over graham crackers. Stir. Press the graham cracker crust in the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish. Refrigerate.
  2. Put jar of Nutella, Cream Cheese and Milk in a large mixing bowl. Mix on high until creamy. You will have to use a spatula because the Nutella is pretty sticky.
  3. Pour cream cheese mixture into baking dish and spread over the graham cracker crust. Put in the refrigerator until cold. Enjoy!
Do you like Nutella as much as I do? What is your favorite way to eat it?
