Printable Monthly Budget Sheet

Since starting to budget, I have found that it is easier to keep it up when I have someplace to write everything down.

Printable Monthly Budget Sheet

I made up a simple monthly budget sheet and I thought I would share it with you.

I am using it for both my blogging and personal accounts.

It works out great and I can see roughly what I will have after the main expenses are taken out.

The first column is for your estimates. You may have a rough idea what income and expenses will be for the month. Place that in the Estimated Column.

When Estimating, I like to guess a bit high. That way I know I will have enough money for everything.

Once you know for sure what the actual income and expenses are, you can place that amount in the Actual Column.

When everything is all said and done, you can see what your remaining cash is. Maybe you want to add a little bit to your savings account. Or you could treat yourself with a meal out.

Budgeting can be painful for the first few months, however; it makes you take a hard look at what you are spending your money on.

Trust me, it is hard but I have been re-evaluating a lot with all my expenses lately.

The goal for 2017 is to get out of debt. Budgeting and using this printable is helping me iron out all the details and meet my goal.

Budgeting manually like this really is such a pain in the butt, but it’s worth it in the end! And it’s extremely eye opening as well – you’ll be shocked at how quickly those little expenses add up. And hopefully that’ll encourage you to stop racking up those expenses! I know it did for me.
