Learning To Fish

Since moving to our new house, our son has been learning how to fish. We have a nice lake that is at the end of our yard. With all the rain we have been having, it has been hard to get down to the lake. It has just been a muddy mess down there. Just recently, it has finally dried out enough for us to go down to the lake and enjoy some fishing.

Learning to Fish

Since my oldest is still learning to fish, he still gets help from Dad sometimes. Once the line is cast, it is my son’s job to watch the bobber to see he catches a fish or not. He enjoys going out and fishing with Dad.

Learning to Fish

The boys didn’t catch anything on this fishing trip but they had fun. It made for a nice relaxing evening and my son got to be outdoors where he loves to be.

Learning to FishI make sure the family is protected with Banana Boat® Sport Performance® Clear UltraMist® Sunscreen with PowerStay Technology™  when they are out fishing. It is handy to grab when you are on the go. Plus, there isn’t a cap that I have to worry about. Simply twist either open or lock the container. It is quick absorbing as well, so I don’t have to worry about the sunscreen coming off. While applying the sunscreen, everyone holds their breath so they do not inhale the spray.

Make sure you stop by Banana Boat® and register for a chance to win the ultimate family vacation!

I’d sure like a lake in my backyard! That’s wonderful, just enjoying the outside and learning how to fish. 🙂

That is so cool that you live on a lake, well, near enough. I grew up fishing every weekend and hope to share it with the kids. Your photos are wonderful!

I did take my sister’s engagement photos out back by the lake.
