I participated in a campaign on behalf of Fashionista Events hosted by Still Blonde after all these Years and Modly Chic for Fashion: I received a review product as a thank you for participating. Fashionista Event bloggers are not responsible for sponsors that do not fulfill their prizes
It seems like these days the only times I am able to enjoy a nice crochet project (or read a great book) is after my daughter goes to sleep. Since I’m often up much later than my husband working, he often shuts the lights out on me, which makes it hard to continue crocheting in the dark.
I’m really glad that I have gotten the chance to review the Bean N Read, because now I can get more stuff done even after my husband turns out the lights.
I also have the issue of running out of daylight while traveling. We travel long distances to see family and are often driving after the sun goes down, leaving me seated in the passenger seat with nothing to do. This product is perfect to keep a light on my project and doesn’t cause a distraction to the driver like turning on an overhead light would.
This light is hands-free and comes with 6 LED lights to provide you with more than enough light to see your project. It does requires 4 AA batteries to operate that are not included with the device. There are also two filters designed to help people with sensitive eyes or to assist with help adjusting from brightness back to dark. The neck strap is very comfortable and I barely notice that the light is there once I am deeply involved in a project.
This would make a fantastic Christmas present for anyone who travels, camps, does crafts such as crochet or knitting, or simply to be used along with an e-reader device that may not come with a backlight. It’s definitely been an asset to have around and is completely portable, so I can’t wait to take it with me on the go!
