The Primo Flavorstation helps you create sparkling beverages at home! I recently had the opportunity to review the Primo Flavorstation 100 with my family. My husband is in love! He uses it constantly! It’s a great solution to use at home if you often purchase carbonated beverages in the store and creates a lot less waste.
The Flavorstation 100 is very simple to use. It comes with a CO2 cylinder that you load into the back of the machine. This is what carbonates the beverages. It also comes with s 100% BPA free sports bottle that you can both create the beverages in, drink out of, and even take on the go! The bottles are very convenient and hold 16.9fl oz of liquid. I personally love that there is very little cleanup associated with this device!
To use the machine, you fill the sports bottle up with water. We use the water from our Primo Bottom Loading Water Dispenser. Then you attach the bottle to the machine by screwing the mouth of the bottle underneath the top of the machine. You will want to use a clean bottle each time you create a new beverage. There is a small piece that hangs down into the water that will then carbonate it. You hold down the button in the front until you hear three short bursts, indicating that the carbonating process is complete. Then you hold down the red button in the back to release any additional CO2 that has built up during the process.
Once your water is carbonated, you can then pump flavoring into it using any of their flavored beverage mixes. the beverage mixes come in soda flavors, teas, berry and citrus flavors, energy drinks, and tonic water. Each one contains a nutrition label on the back and you can also purchase “diet” versions of a few of them. Since you pump the flavoring into the carbonated water, you can easily create your drink to your own specific taste! I like this feature the most, because I enjoy lemon lime flavor, but I don’t like a very heavy flavor, so I am able to easily regulate it.
The Primo Flavorstation 100 can be purchased online via the Primo Water website or at Lowe’s stores nationwide for $69.99. Each beverage flavoring will run you between $3.99 – $4.99 and make 24 – 12 oz servings. Additionally, you can use a measuring spoon with the bottles, or purchase pumps to easily pump out your flavoring into your drink.
My husband uses this to create drinks to take with him to work so he doesn’t have to stop by the convenience store in the morning to grab something. I love that it doesn’t take up much space on my countertops. The slim design blends in nicely with my appliances and only takes up about 5 inches of space. I keep the beverage flavorings in the cabinet so they are hidden out of sight until we are ready for them (and from my daughter, who would most likely try to climb up the counter to get them).
Do you think you would use one of these at your home? What flavor do you think you would use the most?
