How do you wrap a gift that is fit for a princess? Lots of tulle of course!
Earlier this week I posted about some great Disney Princess items that I got at Walmart and about the Royal Ball App for your smartphone that works with the product signage and logos. Now that I had the gifts, I needed to wrap them and place them under the tree before my daughter could scope out what they were!
I used Cinderella wrapping paper to wrap the MagiClip Castle. The gift wrap happened to be the perfect size for the box and I didn’t have to trim any off the sides (I love it when it just works out like that!)
While I was brainstorming, I thought about what I could use to creatively wrap this present. What princess doesn’t love a Tiara and some tulle? I grabbed my supplies and went to work.
I unwound the tulle from the roll and folded it so that it was a bit thinner. I used it like I would ribbon and wrapped it around lengthwise, tucked it under and drew it up to meet directly in the center. I then tied it off in a knot and trimmed the ends so that they weren’t longer than the package.
Next, I created a tulle bow for the top of the package. I wrapped the tulle around my hand several times very loosely and cut it off of the roll.
Then I tied it with a ribbon around the center and also secured this around the tulle on the package. Once secure, I fluffed out the bow and added the Tiara to the top. I used a piece of ribbon to tie the Tiara in the center.
I think that it turned out extremely cute and my daughter is now hovered over the gift under the tree, waiting until Christmas so that she can find out what is inside. In her words, “I’m so excited, I can’t wait for Christmas!”
I agree with her, I can hardly wait either! For more from Disney, be sure to follow them on Twitter!
