We have just begun the 2012 year. For the first time, I have decided to make a resolution. After having a child last year and the holiday seasons, I have decided to get in better shape and slim down. EatSmart has designed a bathroom scale to help anyone with the same resolution that I have.
I received the EatSmart Precision Get Fit Digital Body Fat Scale for review. The scale has a very sleek design and is so thin that it reminds me of a tablet. This scale not only measures your weight, it also measures your body fat, body water, body muscle and bone mass. It is able to measure these with their ITO BIA (Bio-Electrical Impedance Analysis) Technology. The scale sends a small electrical current through your body (you must be barefoot) and that is how it measures the body fat, body water, body muscle and bone mass. Don’t worry, you can not feel this electrical current. If you have a pacemaker or any other implanted medical devices it is not recommended that you use this scale.
The scale holds up to 8 profiles and once programmed it will auto recognize the profile when you step on it. The profiles were very easy to set up, as I set one up for both my husband and myself with no problems. There isn’t a need to tap the scale for use as it has “step-on” technology. When you step on the scale with shoes or socks, it will only measure your weight. Also, the scale needs to be on a flat hard surface, no carpet, to give you accurate readings.
The scales readings are very easy to read with the 3.5 inch LCD screen. Your weight loss and body information will be easy to track using this scale.
The EatSmart Precision Get Fit Digital Body Fat Scale is available on their website, Amazon, or Sears for the regular price of $79.95. Check out their website for more tips and items, such as Kitchen Scales and Luggage Scales.
Each month EatSmart donates to charity. For Januray 2012, EatSmart will donate $0.50 for every Facebook like.
