As I post this, I feel like I’m part of some sort of underground crochet club that works secretly at night! Oh wait, I am… we are called moms!
I want to share with you my absolute favorite crochet tool and the only way I get anything done with a toddler. The Crochet Lite.
Since the only time that I have to crochet is after my daughter goes to bed (unless, of course, I want yarn spread throughout the house), this crochet hook helps me see when I want to finish up projects while everyone else is in bed. It is inexpensive, comfortable to hold and light-weight. I find that it works best when used with a lighter color of yarn, as black is not easy to see in the dark, even with a light. I’ve crocheted many hats successfully without disturbing my husband’s slumber. The Crochet Lite comes in many different sizes, for any of your projects and you can purchase replacement batteries. In my experience, I purchased my hook over a year ago and still haven’t changed the batteries! There is a small switch located on the side of the hook that can be turned on or off to save the battery.
I hope that you take the time to check it out! I promise that you won’t be disappointed. And I’ll give you a free membership to the midnight crochet club! haha! (If there actually was one, I would probably be the President).
