Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Dannon Activia Selects Yogurt Series and received a coupon to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
As part of my journey toward a healthy lifestyle, I have been eating more yogurt lately. I love eating yogurt for breakfast because it is just enough to fill me up (because I’m not usually a breakfast eater), is fast (because who has time to sit down and eat a meal with a toddler on the loose!) and comes in many different flavors so I never get bored with it. I tried Activia when it first came out because of the information that it was supposed to naturally help regulate digestion when consumed daily for two weeks as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. I’ve had issues with my digestive system since my early twenties and eating yogurt does help out a lot with this.
Activia has recently introduced a new product line called, Activia Selects. This yogurt now comes in French, Greek and Parfait! It’s no secret that I love Greek yogurt, so I had to give it a try. I went to my local grocery store and purchased the strawberry. I haven’t found many Greek yogurts in a strawberry flavor in my local grocery store, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this one right away. The Activia Selects Greek yogurt is 0% fat and about 190 calories per single serve container. It has fruit mixed in with it and was very tasty! This Greek yogurt was so thick and creamy and hard to believe that it is fat-free!
Activia is known to contain the probiotic culture, Bifidus Regularis®, which according to their website, “helps naturally regulate your digestive system as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.”
Did you know that yogurt can also be used as a substitute for vegetable oil in many recipes? I recently used it in a souffle. The Activia website has a ton of different recipes that you can try. It’s a great way to find new ways to eat your yogurt daily!
Have you tried this yogurt yet? What flavors do you like the best?
