Enjoying Fall Foods When Eating Away From Home #craveability

During the fall I start to crave foods like warm bread, turkey, spiced cider, and of course anything from the dessert menu! My problem is that fall is also one of my busiest working seasons, so I don’t often get to enjoy home-cooked lunches as often as I like. For  a good, fresh lunch I usually have my husband drive-thru Arby’s because they have #craveability.

I should tell you that we eat at Arby’s a lot. Even while watching my weight, I have specifically studied the nutritional information there so that I know what I can order to stay within my caloric limits during the day.

Arby’s is also in a convenient location for us. We will grab something before we head home from the store or if I have worked too much and simply don’t have time to make something. I have also always been very happy with the customer service at our local Arby’s. Out of all the places that we go to eat, they never mess up our orders and the food is always very hot and fresh.

When they introduced the new Grand Turkey Club I knew I had to try it out. This fresh sliced roasted turkey sandwich is served on a wheat bun, with swiss cheese, pepper bacon, lettuce, and tomato.

Grand Turkey Club

It was delicious and definitely has the craveability factor.

It even comes in a fun box.

Arbys

It was truly the greatest thing since sliced roast beef.

Did you know that Arby’s slices their meat fresh int he store? I didn’t, but now I feel a lot better about eating there when we have to eat while on the go.

One of my favorite parts of this sandwich was how moist the turkey was. That is the one complaint I always have about white meat is that it tends to be on the dry side, but this was wonderful and had an amazing flavor. Combined with the bacon and the swiss cheese, it was just what I needed for lunch!

If you want more information about this sandwich, or are an Arby’s fan like I am, consider liking their Facebook page to stay up-to-date on all that Arby’s has to offer.

  1. I love Arby’s too. :) Ours is right on the main highway and it is so easy to pop in for a snack or on-the-go meal!
