How Would You Boost Your Roost if You Had an Extra $1,000?

Right now, Houselogic has an amazing contest going on where you can win $1000! What would you do to your home with an extra $1000?

I think we would spend it on landscaping. The drought in Nebraska did a number on our lawn this year. I want to add a bench and some plants like the ones in this photo. I took this when we were out at our local park this past spring.

Now through November 20th, you can visit the Boost Your Roost website to watch videos of the landscape transformation for the winners of the $20,000 Boost Your Roost contest. There will be 1 video each week to watch of the Smith’s backyard transformation project. Once you watch the video, you will be asked to answer a simple question to be entered into the contest to win $1000. In week 5 if you correctly guess the value that the landscaping project added to the Smith’s home, you could earn 50 extra entries into the contest!

Houselogic has a wealth of information regarding home improvement, home maintenance, repair, and great tips on how to add value to your home. I recently visited their website and even found some ideas of creepy plants to plant in your garden for Halloween!
