Occasionally I like to read books that inspire me to improve my life. Whether it be through my career, health, or finding a way to help others, I believe that knowledge is power, and I have a healthy appetite for learning.
Your Mark on the World was extremely inspiring and provided me with very valuable information. As a parent in today’s economy, I often wonder how I can help out without putting myself in financial risk. This book has great ideas of ways that anyone can help others and stay out of debt. It also has information about how you can eliminate your debt and start saving for your future.
Even though the future seems so far away, it is going to sneak up on us before we know it. I know that when our daughter turned 3 this year, I couldn’t believe how fast the time had gone by. I want her to grow up and be interested in helping others and also be confident in managing her own money, and I know that in order for her to learn this behavior I need to lead by example. The book prompted me to take action.
The author’s writing style is authoritative and educational. The financial information was explained in a way that a beginner could easily understand and I thought that added to the book. I know sometimes I will just stop reading a book if I feel like they are talking above me, and I felt like the author was on point with the information and that I could follow along well.
This isn’t a very long read, but it will definitely leave you feeling ready to finally stand up and leave your mark on the world. This would also make a fantastic Christmas or Graduation present for people who are looking for more in their lives. I recommend it.
