Have you seen the new Barbie movie, Barbie The Princess & the Popstar, yet?
In the movie, Barbie plays princess Tori who wants to switch lives with her rockstar friend, Keira. While the girls have fun at first, they ultimately decide that it is great being yourself. This movie is full of fun, fashion, and friendship sure to entertain any young girl.
The DVD retails for $19.99 and can be purchased on the Mattel website. The movie came out in September, and would make an excellent Christmas gift!
We were sent a Barbie to review and she is gorgeous. My daughter loves the doll and is constantly carrying her around the house. In fact, Barbie can change from Princess Tori to Popstar pretty quickly. Her hair and her outfit both can change and she sings two songs.
I’m very excited that my daughter has now gotten to the age where she loves Barbie! I remember playing with my Barbie Dolls for hours as a child. I love Barbie because her different careers and interests really gauge imaginative play. The Princess & The Popstar is really cute and I love the message that it sends to young kids: it’s okay to want something more, but in the end, finding your voice is what is most important.
