I remember the days of packing my lunch for school. I did my best to make sure that everything was shoved neatly into baggies to keep it separate during the day, but still was very limited on what I could take because I was afraid of having to eat smooshed food.
Sound familiar?
Rubbermaid has a solution for that.
The Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit comes with a set of modular containers that fit together to save you space and allow you more choices when packing your lunch. These containers are BPA-free and microwave and dishwasher safe. They are also safe to put in the freezer.
One thing that I love about these containers are the sizes. The Sandwich Kit comes with a sandwich container that can hold a regular sized sandwich, or one with specialty bread, a nice sized container for a side dish, and two smaller containers that can be used for yogurt, fruit, or snacks. The part that I am most excited about is the blue ice pack that fits perfectly into the center and can help keep your food chilled and fresh.
When I received these containers, I immediately started using them for my husband’s lunch. He often takes his lunch to work with him and dislikes being confined to only eating things that will fit in a baggie. These containers work amazing for him to be able to bring leftovers with him also! I love that it seems I can pack lunches earlier with these containers than I would normally. With the ease of being able to store them in the fridge until the time to go, I often find myself packing up lunch the night before. Anything that saves me time and energy is well worth it in my book!
The Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit can be purchased online at Rubbermaid.com, or popular retail stores such as Target, Kmart, and select Walmart stores for $12.99. The LunchBlox line also contains Entree Dividers and Salad Kits that you can combine with your Sandwich Kit for all of your on-the-go meal needs.

A great tip to get myself better organized that I learned was to purge my mismatched containers which is a bit of a situation in my home. I have dozens of them.
I could really use one of these! I just went back to work after being laid off for 12 months. I spent my days going from client to client and will be eating on the run.

leave time to take donations the same day you empty the closet out.
Don’t make organizing a daunting task. The process will only be somewhat enjoyable if you take baby steps and start with one area or project at a time. Be ambitious but realistic by attempting one task at a time.

lids should be stored in the same place as your containers
You should purge your home of magazines and newspapers, and I agree. It could be a bigger fire hazard.
One way to combat the clutter is to make use of vertical space by stacking Bento Boxes by your couch or chair. In the top Bento Box, store more frequently used items like toys or knitting supplies. Items used less often, like blankets or board games, can go in the bottom Bento Box.
Cleaning supplies typically have a shelf life of 2 years so it’s always a great idea to roundup all your supplies and dispose of anything that has expired. I’ll also often find two bottles of the same cleaning solution that aren’t full. To save space, marry the two and properly dispose of the empty container.
Cleaning products only last for 2 years. After that you should toss them.
