Mama’s Got Heelys: Review of Heelys For Women

I was excited to learn that apparently Heelys aren’t just for kids! You know, those fun shoes that can also double as skates? Not only do these shoes totally match my personal style, they are actually comfortable too!

Heelys has a new line debuting this fall just for females! These shoes can be worn with, or without, the wheel and be used for casual wear or fitness.

I received the Wave in black and pink to review.

I love the look of these shoes and how well they go with my attire. Seriously, over half of my wardrobe is black and pink! I have pretty wide feet and these shoes are roomy and the laces make it easy to tighten or loosen them up. The shoes come with a tool that you can use to remove the heel plug and install the wheels. Installing the wheels is so easy. You just pop them in and push down until they click into place.

I wasn’t brave enough to video my skating, but I managed to impress both my husband and my brother who thought that I would immediately fall on my face. I should mention that I am not the most coordinated person. I doubt I leave my wheels in, but these are comfortable shoes to walk around and do some light exercising in. I have been enjoying the nice compliments that I have gotten about them from other adults.
