Magical Moments: Can They Stay Little Forever?

A big thanks to Disney Babyfor sponsoring this post and the Disney Baby “Little Character” Contest.

As parents, we experience many magical moments with our children. When I look back, I remember first bringing our daughter home from the hospital and taking photos of her tiny hands and feet. I couldn’t get over how small and perfect they were. As she continued to grow, I tried to photograph everything I could along the way, because I knew that she wouldn’t be tiny forever.

Tiny Feet

Here is one of the photos I took of her small foot in my husband’s large hand.

One of my most favorite memories was when she first began to walk. I remember her stumbling around and holding onto pieces of furniture for about a month. Then one day, I just saw her walking across the center of the floor! I was surprised and said out loud, “She’s walking.” Then, the realization set in that she was really walking, so I started yelling to my husband and grabbing for my camera phone! It’s so amazing how fast kids grow! I knew that she wouldn’t be little forever, but wouldn’t mind having a few more years of her being small. I’m pretty sure most parents feel the exact same way.

Disney Baby is having a Little Character Contest where entrants have shared their photo of magical moments and can win $10,000 to go toward their child’s education! Please be sure to stop by and vote for the finalists, because if you vote, you also have a chance to win! The Voter’s Sweepstakes Prize is a Beach Vacation at Fairmont Mirimar Hotel & Bungalows! Wouldn’t it be amazing to be able to get away for a few days and enjoy the beach? Voting ends July 19th, 2012, so hurry and cast your vote today!
