Book Review: Unbound by Lola James

Unbound

In Book 1 of the Spellbound Series, Bound to Remember, by Lola James, we meet Toni, a female doctor with a puzzling past. When she starts working with Ben, a very hot male nurse that also happens to be a vampire, she becomes attracted to him and we learn quite a bit more about her. We also experience quite the cliffhanger that you don’t want to miss!

Book 2, Unbound, begins where Book 1 left off. Toni finds herself the object of many affections with several men after her heart. Who will she choose?

Synopsis

Toni went from being a doctor, to the lover of a god in an instant. Remembering who she was, she’s now torn between her past self and her current love. Ben is stunned when Toni leaves and at the arrival of his long lost love, Catherine, but her arrival doesn’t eradicate Toni from his mind. Unlikely allies will team up to get Toni back from the Lord of the Underworld, Hades, but it’s not Hades they need to worry about.

**This Book is Intended for Adults over 18 years of age**

Personally, I love reading paranormal romances and this one had a great mix of witches, vampires, and even incorporated Greek Mythology. The addition of the gods and their personalities definitely brought uniqueness to this story. I loved how it was a quick read that flowed really well and was hard to put down. I love the wittiness of the characters throughout the series and thought that it made for a very enjoyable read. I can’t wait for the next one to come out!
