Thanks for coming back to the second edition of design spotting with Midwestern Moms! Click here to read my first post in the series.
I often find myself keeping my eyes open for interesting and abstract designs that are much different from the design that I decorate my home with. I tend to stick to a more rustic, country style, however I love a modern design that uses texture and unique elements.
This wall hanging I spotted at a hotel recently. Deep purple in color, this abstract art really was eye catching in the room.
Keeping with the modern feel, this shot was taken from the floor, looking up to the ceiling. Not only was this breathtaking, it was unique enough that I think I will be able to remember it for quite some time.
What are some of your favorite designs and why?
Like I’ve said before, I have decorated my house in a country style. My favorite colors are green, brown and red. However, I think I’ve always stuck to those designs because they have been safe for me. I think the next time that we update our decor, I am going to incorporate a little bit more of a modern style.
I believe that when it comes to your home, design can be both fun, as well as functional! That is why I love the designs that Dyson offers for their products.
